The Sims 4 got a fresh update on July 16, and this one’s all about fixing those weird pregnancy problems that popped up earlier this month. It’s a smaller patch compared to the usual, but if you’ve been messing around with expecting Sims, this will definitely matter.
Maxis explained that the update addresses issues introduced on July 1, 2025, related to pregnancy mechanics on PC, Mac, and consoles. Those bugs were caused by some performance tweaks, but they have now been reversed to restore things to normal. If you use pregnancy mods, they should mostly work like before, though it’s a good idea to double-check with the mod creators.
