Wild West Online

Following our previous article regarding the Open-World MMO and according to the developers of Wild West Online, the game is fully polished and released on Steam. Before, Wild West Online was available to buy only through its official website while the game was in Early Access.

Wild West Online

Wild West Online is a Wild West themed MMO, a resemblance to Red Dead Redemption. The game was available as a paid Early Access since the beginning of November and has decided to achieve new height since. However, at the current stage, lots of players do not find the game as ready to encounter.

Namely, early after its release on Steam, the reviews it has received are overwhelmingly negative. We did elaborate on the question if the game’s official release marks it as an Early Access product on Steam. It seems that it doesn’t. No Early Access tag can be found on the official Steam page, presenting the game as a complete product.

Despite its MMO genre and somewhat old medieval gameplay, the game is expected to include a vast amount of cosmetics. Wild West Online was scheduled to receive a 0.8 update together with the official release. However, the update hit a bit earlier.

According to the developers, the game offers a fully polished content and mechanics, despite its “mostly negative” reviews. Moving forward, together with the release, the developer has published the minimum and recommended requirements to run the game. You can find them below:

MINIMUM:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 7 64 bit, Windows 8.1 64 bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 | AMD FX-6100, or better

  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 460 2 GB VRAM | AMD Radeon HD 7770 2 GB VRAM, or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 12 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
