Battlestate Games, for the first time in a looong time has revealed the wipe date for Escape From Tarkov. With that said, the next wipe and installation of patch 0.15 will happen on August 20.
The wipe itself will be escorted with a Twitch Drops event. More details about the event can be found below, as shared on the official website.
EFT WIPE, TWITCH DROPS, and MORE DETAILS
Battlestate Games is happy to announce the return of the summer Twitch Drops campaign, which will run from August 23, 2PM BST / 9AM EDT, to August 28, 2PM BST / 9AM EDT.
The event will start after the release of Patch 0.15.0.0 in Escape from Tarkov on August 20, which will also feature a wipe.

Registration for the event will start on August 14 at 2PM BST / 9AM EDT and will be open until August 21, 4PM BST / 11AM EDT.
- Time slots
All Twitch Drops event participants have 2 time slots available for selection. When a user clicks on the window row, it becomes highlighted. At the same time, the other windows for that day, as well as adjacent windows for other days, are no longer available for selection. They become grayed out.

Along with the summer Twitch Drops 2024 campaign, there will be in-game events:
Rating season
A rating season will launch alongside the summer Twitch Drops 2024 campaign. The following rating categories are available:
- PMC K/D;
- Total kill count;
- Farthest effective shot;
- Average profit per raid;
- Raids (Survived status).
Weather season change
Streamer Marathon – on each day of the campaign, certain tasks will be available for streamers who have Drops in the Escape from Tarkov category. Depending on whether the streamers complete the tasks or not, the quality of the earnable Drops on the next day will change.
If streamers do not complete any of the tasks, then the Drops for the next day of the campaign will feature the common versions of the Unlockable containers.
If streamers complete one task, then the Drops for the next day of the campaign will feature the upgraded versions of the Unlockable containers.
If streamers complete both tasks, then the Drops for the next day of the campaign will feature greatly upgraded versions of the Unlockable containers.

Drops can be earned by users who have an active copy of the game. If you don’t have your own copy yet, you can purchase it here.
To receive or enable Drops, both the viewer and the streamer need to attach their Twitch account to their game profile on the project’s website. You can do this here.
During the campaign, at certain intervals, you will be guaranteed to receive an unlockable container, which are categorized by the rarity of the contents – Common, Rare and Legendary.
You can watch one or more broadcasts, but viewing time for rewards will only count if those broadcasts are participating in the event.
