The latest patch, Update 1.2.10, has rolled out a treasure trove of new content that promises to shake things up in ways you might not expect. With fresh quests, characters, and gameplay features, there’s plenty to dive into.
Patch Notes for Update 1.2.10
- Platforms: Steam, Xbox Series X│S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5
- Main Quest: Sigma Sector
- A new main quest set in the Sigma Sector follows the aftermath of the Descendant Corps’ victory over the first Ironheart.
- This quest becomes available after completing the Fortress zone main quest.
- Completing Basics Training for Descendants during this quest allows players to access a record of major battlefields during the Apocalypse.
- Investigating all traces of Early Descendants listed in this record rewards players with a special Chest Attachment.
- New Content: Sigma Sector Dropoff Operation
- The Sigma Sector has been off-limits for a century due to intense Void Erosion phenomena; however, signs of enemy presence have emerged.
- This operation unlocks after finishing ‘Responsibility, Regret, and Atonement.’
- The operation features two zones—Broken Boundary and Isolated Desert—each with Normal and High-risk difficulty levels based on Storm Level.
- Missions are randomly selected from four options per zone and difficulty level.
- Reaching Mastery Rank 15 and completing an Isolated Desert mission unlocks Broken Boundary on High-risk Difficulty.
- Certain monsters drop exclusive unique weapons known as Ground Custodians that enhance damage against enemies or their transport ships.
- New Descendant: Serena Antonietta
- A new character named Serena joins the fray with her own blueprints and materials obtainable from Sigma Sector Dropoff Operations.
- Serena boasts several skills including Sacred Flame which deals damage while providing healing benefits to allies.
- High-Value Relic Exchange:
You can now trade High-Value Relics obtained from Sigma Sector operations for various items at Reina in Albion once you reach Mastery Rank 15.-
- A daily bonus is available once per zone in High-risk Difficulty that allows players to earn High-Value Relics.
The rewards include unique Arche Factor EXP boosts among other items.

- New Weapons: Four new ultimate weapons have been introduced:
- Malevolent (Hand Cannon): Acquirable through Battle Pass with a unique ability called Malicious Pain that creates damaging Bladed Cogs when hitting enemies.
- Truly Deadly Arson (Beam Rifle): Obtainable in Sigma Sector (Normal) with an ability that inflicts Void Fire on enemies leading to explosive damage effects when they burn.
- Anicent Knight (Assault Rifle): Available on High-risk Difficulty; reloading midair grants Float status while also allowing HP recovery upon hitting enemies.
- A-TAMS (Sniper Rifle): Also obtainable on High-risk Difficulty; it enhances damage based on MP consumption while aiming.
User Interface Improvements & New Features
- A revamped shop interface simplifies navigation through products with improved layouts for featured categories and added convenience features like filtering by available items or specific descendants.
The introduction of Photo Mode allows players to capture stunning moments without restrictions—though it does end if your character dies or teleports!
