The First Descendant is packing Valby gifts, an Evangelion crossover, and boost weekends into June 18
Nexon said the update will open six timed events, from login rewards and token shops to research speed bonuses that run into July.
The First Descendant will get a batch of in-game events after the June 18 update, and Nexon is mixing a summer Valby run with an Evangelion collaboration.
Valby’s Sea Day Gift will run until June 26 at 11:59 p.m. PDT and will grant the Sea Day Mascot spray. The longer Sea Day with Valby login event will stay active through July 22 at 11:59 p.m. PDT and will hand out rewards such as the Shark in the Water! Ecive Skin, the Sea Day UI theme, the Aquan Plush Toy chest attachment, the Aquan’s Lost Tail back attachment, and the Valby’s Sea Day Mascot Box on Day 28.
The The First Descendant x Evangelion event will run through July 29 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Players can earn NERV Tokens from daily missions like First Alert Issued, Technical Verification Complete, Specialized Entity Response, and Operation Zone Entry, plus weekly missions such as Tactical Pattern Analysis I and Tactical Pattern Analysis II. Those tokens can be spent at BB-On’s shop in Albion on items including the Hot Spring Penguin name card, the PenPen Pin Badge chest attachment, themed photo frames and stickers, and makeup items tied to Rei, Mari, and Asuka. Nexon also said NERV Tokens will not be deleted after the event ends.
Ultimate Weapon Upgrade Mission II will last until July 14 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Accelerate Research Week runs through July 1 at 11:59 p.m. PDT and will apply a 50% research speed bonus from Monday 00:00 to Thursday 23:59 PDT, then a 100% bonus from Friday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 PDT. Descendant’s Weekend will run from June 19 at 00:00 to June 28 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, with weekend boosts for Infiltration Operations, Sigma Sector or higher, Special Operations, and Breach Tracking, including a 20% increase to Descendant EXP, Weapon Proficiency, and Arche Tuning EXP, plus a 20% boost to Gold and Kuiper Shard gains.
Daily missions reset at 00:00 PDT each day, weekly missions reset every Thursday at 00:00 PDT, and mail rewards should arrive within 10 minutes of being claimed.
