Starting October 30, players can take control of their in-game identity with the new ‘Rename Game Account’ service. Gone are the days of being stuck with a name generated from your platform nickname. Now, you can choose a name that truly reflects your gaming persona!

The process is simple: log in to the official website, navigate to the ‘My Info’ section, and voila! You can pick a new account name, with the caveat that you’ll have to wait 30 days for another change. Remember, your new name must be between 2 to 20 characters and can’t include special characters or spaces. So, keep it clean!

In addition to the renaming feature, the “Descendant’s Daily Tasks” event kicks off on the same day. This event runs from October 30 to November 20, offering daily and weekly tasks that refresh every day. Completing these tasks earns you sweet rewards delivered straight to your in-game mailbox.

Mark your calendars for the big Update 1.1.6, which will also roll out on October 30. This update is packed with enhancements across various platforms, including Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. One of the most significant changes is the Reactor Implant functionality, which allows players to optimize their characters like never before.

Furthermore, the Albion Resource Defense mission has been revamped. The number of waves has been slashed from 21 to 10, and players can expect more Common and Commander Monsters to spawn. It’s all about keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging!

What’s New?

  • Module Socket Type Auto Application: No more manual changes; modules of the same type will now automatically adjust!
  • Shop Updates: The ‘Twisted Worship SE’ body skin has been added for players who purchase the original skin before or after the update.
  • PS5 Pro Enhancements: Players can now enjoy improved graphics and ray-tracing capabilities.

Director’s Insights

On a personal note, Director Minseok Joo shared plans for an upcoming Community Q&A on October 31. He aims to address critical community feedback on combat, content, and customization. It’s an excellent opportunity for players to be heard and for the dev team to showcase their commitment to player engagement.

Thanks for tuning in, Descendants! Keep your eyes peeled for all these new features and updates. Whether changing your name or diving into daily tasks, plenty’s to keep you busy in “The First Descendant.” Happy gaming!
