The First Descendant received Hotfix 1.3.19d early on PST 2026.02.19 (Thu) at 00:30 across Steam, Xbox, and PS5. The hotfix installs server-side only, so no client patch download is required. Players who are currently in a session should return to the title screen and reconnect to pick up the changes immediately.
The update changes Wall Crasher’s reward behavior: drop rewards are now granted only once when Wall Crasher is defeated for the first time during each cycle. The development team says this prevents unintended accumulation of rewards and will be followed by log reviews and enforcement where exploitation is confirmed.

# Director’s Comments
Greetings, Descendants. This is the Director of The First Descendant, Minseok Joo.
First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent issue related to Wall Crasher.
We identified that, contrary to the dev team’s intent, a certain system was able to affect the in-game balance, and we have applied a hotfix to prevent further issues.
We are currently preparing a comprehensive review of game logs regarding concerns about abnormal gains. We kindly ask for your understanding, as this is a necessary step to protect the efforts and the value of items earned by the many Descendants who continue to play the game fairly.
In cases where clear and excessive exploitation is confirmed, we will take firm action to ensure fairness. We will also continue to monitor the situation closely to maintain a stable and healthy game environment.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
We will continue to do our utmost to provide a more stable and reliable gameplay experience.
Thank you.
