Embark Studios released Update 9.2.0 for The Finals on December 25, 2025. The patch reintroduces the holiday LTM Snowball Blitz and updates the in-game store with the seasonal Countdown Crew cosmetics.
The Snowball Blitz mode runs as a two-week 5v5 limited-time match where the first team to reach 30,000 points wins. All players spawn armed with snowballs, contracts and rewards are active, and the mode uses the snowed-in Monaco map. Update 9.2.0 focuses on festive content and a short seasonal event. The changes are primarily cosmetic and event-based, so they most directly affect players looking for timed game modes and new shop items. The LTM is ideal for quick, casual matches and seasonal contract progression.

Snowball Blitz is back for another season, because nothing says holiday spirit like a face full of tightly-packed snow.
Put on your warmest outfit and join the 5v5 snow brawl! Just like TDM, the first team to hit 30K takes the win, so it’s time to put your opponents on ice. Get ready for heated battle and very cold hands.
