The Finals is rolling out Update 7.5, shaking up the World Tour with dome shields protecting cashout stations and a fresh batch of summer-themed items. This update adds a new layer of strategy and style, just in time for some heated Arena battles.
During the Season 7 event, sponsored by the mysterious CNS, cashout stations will be surrounded by damage-blocking dome shields. Your team can rally inside these shields to defend your hard-earned prize. If you manage to steal the cashout, you’ll also swap ownership of the shield and reset its health. Timing your attacks with a well-placed glitch Grenade can disable the shield for 5 seconds, opening a window to break through. It’s a clever twist that might prompt you to think twice before rushing in.
Meanwhile, VAIIYA’s watchful presence remains, but CNS appears to have the upper hand when it comes to securing secrets. The gameplay shift here is subtle but should add some tense moments in matches.
On the cosmetic front, the in-game store welcomes the Pool Flamingun set and the Bounce Back ball, perfect for any water-themed showdown. If you want something a little more floral, the Floral Fatale set offers a blooming look that’s as flashy as it sounds. After the action, chill out with the new Sudden Lounge animation. And if you prefer to remind your opponents of past battles, the Throwing Knife skins might just do the trick.
Don’t forget, the Buffer Overflow weapons bundle and the Encrypted Vision helmet are still available on Twitch for another week.
