THE FINALS Store Update 11.8.0 gives COMETA’s outer-space arsenal a fresh turn, bringing gear built for harsh conditions and discounts on featured bundles. The store refresh also forecasts warmer temperatures in the Arena starting the week of September 7.

Embark Studios outlined the refresh in its Steam announcement for Store Update 11.8.0. The update’s store section is titled TRANSIT GRADE, and its COMETA arsenal is presented as equipment designed to withstand the best and worst that outer space can offer.

A more improvised answer to solar radiation also gets a mention. Foil is suggested as a possible defense, although the wording leaves that claim firmly in joke territory. It is a small detail that keeps the space theme from taking itself too seriously.

The TRANSIT GRADE presentation is accompanied by a video showcasing the store refresh.

COMETA’s shop rotation is not the only way to spend less this week. Featured bundles including the City Lancer Set are part of another sale, with more discounted offerings included beyond the named set.

The shop continues to change alongside the weekly updates. The previous Update 11.7.0 changes paired a new Shockwave glitch effect with a guitar-themed store set, while 11.8.0 moves the cosmetic spotlight to outer-space equipment.
