THE FINALS is drawing its largest Steam audience in nearly a year as Embark Studios’ Season 11, Galaxy Masters, brings a wide range of changes to the free-to-play arena shooter.
The game reached 24,660 concurrent players on Steam during the last 24 hours. That marks the highest figure recorded since September 2025, when Season 8 launched.
Galaxy Masters Gives THE FINALS Plenty to Offer
Season 11 adds Galaxy Estates, a new arena built around vertical combat, destructible areas, points of interest, and anti-gravity columns. The season’s other major additions are detailed in Embark Studios’ official Update 11.0 notes.
Players can now work through three battle passes: free, premium, and ultimate. Embark also added a new tutorial for people learning the game, along with bot matches that let players face computer-controlled opponents.
The season reaches beyond new content. Melee combat received a full rework, the contextual ping system was upgraded, and ranked play, map rotations, and several core systems were adjusted. Faster progression and new cosmetics give returning players more reasons to spend time in the arena.
These changes have also been covered in the Season 11 patch breakdown, which details the new arena, bot matches, melee changes, ranked adjustments, and other Update 11.0.0 changes.
THE FINALS launched in December 2023, and Season 11 appears to have brought a noticeable portion of its audience back to the game. The Steam figure does not represent every platform, but it provides a clear view of the renewed activity surrounding Galaxy Masters.
