The Division 2 Summer Swarm Stretch Goals Extend Season Pass Rewards

New bonus tiers add free rewards including rare Exotics and Named Items starting August 19.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is adding a fresh twist to its Season Pass with the Summer Swarm Stretch Goals extension launching on August 19. Players get another chance to grab high-value rewards beyond Tier 100 without paying extra, including some hard-to-find Exotics and event-limited Named Items like the Lexington AR and Turmoil Kneepads.

The Stretch Goals feature adds a bonus page (Page 11) with 10 looping tiers that keep on giving as long as the event lasts. All rewards sit on the free track, so no premium pass is required. You won’t be able to buy levels past Tier 100, and progress here comes purely from gameplay XP earned through activities like Manhunt Scouts, Seasonal Journey, and more. Keep in mind, the usual 2X Season XP bonus stops at Tier 100; Stretch Goals progress follows normal XP gains.

Wondering what’s inside those Summer Swarm Caches? Each one guarantees seasonal items and crafting materials, plus a chance at some sweet drops:

Vanity Items – 50% chance per cache until supply runs out

  • Wasp Warrior Outfit – 5 pieces
  • Arm Patches – 4 pieces
  • Weapon Skins – 2 pieces
  • Wasp Warrior Trinket Backpack Trophy

Seasonal and Special Exotics – 10% drop chance per cache

  • Pakhan LMG
  • Nimble Holster
  • Nemesis MMR
  • Liberty Pistol
  • Chatterbox SMG* (higher drop chance)
  • Dodge City Gunslinger’s Holster
  • Ridgeway’s Pride Chest Piece

Named Items – 10% drop chance per cache

  • Lexington AR* (higher drop chance)
  • Turmoil Kneepads
  • Caretaker AR
  • Shield Splinterer AR
  • Hunter-Killer Chest Piece
  • Huntsman AR
  • First Sight AR
  • Sleigher SMG
  • Slingshot SMG
  • Oh Carol MMR
  • Handbasket MMR
  • The Harvest Pistol
  • Chill Out Mask
  • Festive Delivery Backpack
  • Snow Machine Kneepads

Exclusive Exotics – 0.5% drop chance per cache

  • Regulus Pistol
  • Eagle Bearer AR
  • Ravenous Rifle
  • Bighorn AR
  • Ouroboros SMG
  • Provocator Chest Piece
  • Birdie’s Quick Fix Backpack

Some fixes also came with this update, tidying up bugs like the stuck recover intel sequence in the Battle for Brooklyn DLC, issues with the Oxidizer Chem Launcher Skill during the Golden Bullet event, and a few UI glitches. Yikes, that Nutcracker Merit Commendation finally works now.

Patch Notes

  • Fixed the issue in the Battle for Brooklyn DLC’s Art Museum mission where the recover intel loading sequence would not stop when a player in the loading area became unconscious.
  • Fixed the issue with the Oxidizer Chem Launcher Skill where killing an enemy while the Golden Bullet Global Event was active would refill the magazine to full.
  • Fixed the issue where the “Nutcracker Merit” Commendation couldn’t be completed.
  • Fixed the issue where the container would drop multiple times or appear already lowered before falling again when reaching the beat 5 objective in the Potomac Event Center mission.
  • Fixed the issue with communication collectibles not autoplaying after players completed a Scout to unlock them.
  • Fixed the issue with the “Switch Weapon” button in the Bundles category redirecting the player to the previously selected bundle on the PC platform.
  • Fixed the issue with the Silver Lining skin not matching its preview image when equipped on the AUG A3 Para XS.

Ready to grind for some extra loot? Stretch Goals will keep you busy and hopefully rewarded for a while. What do you think about this free extension? Worth the time or just another grind? Let’s talk about it in the comments below.
