For the first time in the series, The Division 2 will include Raids. Raids will be instances that will push 8 players to team up and tackle down on the high-end content found in The Division. It will be the juiciest and most rewarding content found in the game. As such, leaks about the first Raid and its release has started appearing.
Thanks to kevindavid40, a guy who recently appeared on The Division 2 Reddit page, has managed to decrypt the game asset file, finding some useful information on the coming Raid in The Division 2.
The Raid will most likely be a widespread activity considering the size of the map. The Division 2 Raid will consist of multiple Objectives that will take place on two main destinations. According to Kevin, they are as follows:
Location | Ronald Reagan Airport |
Destination | Arlington Island |
Access Point on Map | Arlington Memorial Bridge |
Throughout this Raid, there will be multiple Objectives:
- Survive the assault on the bridge
- Find the stolen GPS coordinates
- Protect the named agent on your team
- Confirm the kill of 2nd hand Lieutenant
- Rendezvous with your team
- Survive the blackout attack
- Find the activation code
- Extract your team to safety
- Split teams and flank the target
- Stop the convoy from leaving the runway
- Takeout bombarders from high ground
This will be The Division most rewarding end-game content that will put agents to the limit. However, Kevin also found that the Raid will also provide players with a rewarding title. That being said, there will be Raid Trophies, that will most likely contain some kind of a special reward.
The Raid Trophies can be found below:
Trophy | Rarity | Description |
Relentless | Gold | Make it through the bridge in one hour or less |
Extreme Measures | Gold | Have your most kills with Signature weapons |
Reminder of Me | Gold | Kill any of the Hunters who killed you before |
Gone Baby Gone | Silver | In less than 2 minutes flee from Interceptors |
Further info has also been discovered that mission can be triggered from within the Raid. The mission name is called Nighthawk. The Division 2 and its arrival have awakened a lot of hopes for the franchise. After the failure of the first one, this may be the game of the year we’re talking about here.
