The recent release of The Crew 2 update 1.28 has brought new content to the game, with Season 8 bringing in new cars and events for players to enjoy. The update also includes improvements to the handling of Touring Car and Alpha GP vehicles, based on feedback from players. Additionally, a new playground called the Motorflix Arena is now available on Michigan Lake. The patch sizes vary depending on the platform and may be as large as 33 GB for Ubisoft Connect/Steam users.

TOURING CAR & ALPHA GP HANDLING UPDATE
Thanks to your feedback, we have worked to improve the consistency of the handling of vehicles in the same category. Since Season 5 with the Rallycross category, but also during the following Seasons on the Touring Car category. With Season 8, we are happy to announce that we are bringing a new milestone by rolling out handling improvements for all the vehicles in the Touring Car and Alpha GP categories that have not been updated until now.

Known Issues
Below you will find a list of some of the current known issues.
- Dashboards flash on the screen for a short time when being reloaded in-game.
- “PSST Horn” is not correctly translated in Traditional Chinese language and debug text is present instead of the vanity name.
- The wrong text is displayed for Season 8 Episode 2 events, displaying ‘Time Attack’ when races are against AIs.
- The Season 8 Episode 2 events in their Endurance versions have the wrong short transition video with no sound.
