Bandai Namco published the Tekken 8 Season 3 announcement trailer on Steam and YouTube, laying out release dates, competitive timing, and a three-stage character rollout. The trailer is embedded on the Steam news page, and the official video is available on YouTube.
Schedule details from the trailer are listed below.
- Feb 10 (3/9 PST): Season 3 Pass plus a 2nd anniversary campaign.
- March 17 (3/16 PDT): Season 3 start, which includes a major balance and rank update.
- May: Competitive Season start.
- Late Spring: Kunimitsu will arrive.
- Summer: Bob will be added.
- Fall: Roger Jr. will join the roster.
The trailer frames the March 17 launch as more than cosmetic content. The March update specifically pairs the new season with broad balance changes and an update to the ranking system.
Competitive activity is scheduled to begin in May, separate from the March season start. The Season 3 Pass and the 2nd anniversary campaign are set to arrive earlier on Feb 10, using the Steam time conversion noted in the trailer.
