When it comes to game leaks, the Tekken community has had its fair share of speculations, rumors, and mysteries. The recent Tekken 8 roster leak has been the center of debate for the past month. However, the weekend’s events at EVO seem to have put the rumors to rest.

Recent images from EVO, one of the most significant events in the fighting game community, appear to confirm the much-debated Tekken 8 roster leak. Enthusiasts have taken to social media to share images from the Tekken 8 booth, one of which prominently features the character Steve.

Initially dismissed by many, these leaks originated from a closed network test last month. It’s believed that Cheat Engine, a popular PC tool used for game modifications, was the culprit behind the information breach.

Social media user @VolSkimmer was among the first to share the images from EVO.

Tekken 8 made waves when it was first announced in September 2022 during a PlayStation State of Play livestream. Bandai Namco has announced that the game will be available on platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
