Through a very rough and tiring sensation filled with a lot of sweat and excitement, the underdog, Team Spirit, has managed to come on the top of The International 10. The wish of every Dota 2’s professional player is to win Dota 2 The International, and four of these young boys have achieved what others have tried to do for multiple years in a row.
The first game of the match was Team Spirit’s best. They got 18 kills while PSG.LGD only had five, which is why it seemed like they would be dominating this whole thing from start to finish when in reality, things weren’t nearly as one-sided after two games with 24 vs 8 killed by TSpirit versus LGD. With the second match dominated, it seemed that Team Spirit was about to win The International 10 speedily.
Luckily for the fans, a twist happened, as PSG.LGD managed to even things out in fast sensation. In a quite solid outplay, PSG.LGD won the 3rd and 4th matches of the series. At this point, it all came down to one game, the last one in the series, to conclude the “best of 5” series.
In the last match, PSG.LGD decided to go with Lycan and Tiny, while Team Spirit held to its best strats and decided to pick Magnus, which in the hands of Collapse is something peculiar. Thanks to his Magnus knowledge, he managed to find easy kills left and right, while the others just followed and executed in the best possible way.
Congrats to Team Spirit for carving this underdog story and giving other lower-tier players hope to put an effort in qualifying and winning an International themselves.
