Australian Hightower Highjinx will return on September 12, 2026, bringing Team Fortress 2 players back to its 9v9 Hightower competition after years away. Players of all skill levels will be able to take part.

The event’s official Team Fortress announcement confirms that the competition will bring back its Australium-coated medals alongside the familiar Hightower action. Teams will need a minimum of nine players to register and play.

Registration and donation rewards

Registration is available through the Ozfortress league page. The event is open to players across the skill spectrum, so assembling a full nine-player lineup will be the main requirement for teams looking to enter.

Donations will also unlock special glowing badges. A $5 AUD donation will grant the green donation badge, while a $25 AUD contribution will also provide the true blue Royalty badge.

Additional event information will be shared through the Ozfortress Discord. With the cup scheduled for September 12, teams still have time to find their ninth player and prepare for some chaotic Hightower matches.
