Cyberpunk 2077 as we know it has become a strong meme these days. Apparently, the cyber-attack CD Projekt Red dealt with was not a joke. All of the stolen and sensitive data was sold to an anonymous buyer for millions, and now early alpha builds of the game have started pouring in on the internet—buggy montages with tons of funny elements and a great soundtrack that fits the content well. So, is this content in belonging to CDPR before the hack happened?
A lot of videos from early in-development builds have been posted on Reddit, mocking the development studio to infinity. Some of the videos have been removed, but a strong compilation of them hasn’t been touched and became available to the public.
A whole lot of glitch compilation during early development, as the devs might say, even though others believe that the montages come from not too long ago, but around 1 year before release. While the main leak was deleted, the others remain intact. You can find them all below.
The confusion is mostly because CD Projekt Red wanted to keep this a secret. If the footage included in those videos is older than what everyone believes, then there’s nothing wrong or unpleasant in the eyes of the players. But, if it’s not, then we can blame the atrocity made by CD Projekt Red. Enjoy watching some funny moments below.
The developer is still trying to fix the game with consecutive updates, and it does seem distant from appearing on the PlayStation Store any time soon, as Sony’s predicament is the only thing that matters. So, lifting the ban from the PS Store could take longer than expected.
