Stellar Blade’s PC system requirements have been revealed and are pretty accessible. Even a budget graphics card from 2016 can handle the game, which is good news for players without the latest hardware. The game launches on June 11; these specs suggest it won’t demand a powerhouse to enjoy.
According to the PlayStation blog, running Stellar Blade at 1080p on low settings with 60 fps requires only an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580. Both cards were affordable options in the mid-2010s, meaning many older PCs might still be up to the task.
The minimum CPU requirements are similarly modest, listing an Intel Core i5 7600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X. These processors are nearly a decade old but are still able. The game needs 16 GB of RAM and about 75 GB of storage, with an SSD recommended for better performance.

Even at the highest settings in 4K, the requirements are reasonable. An Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X paired with an RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT will let you enjoy the game’s visuals, like the detailed rain effects on the main character Eve’s hair. While these GPUs are more powerful and pricier, they’re not out of reach for many gamers.
Interestingly, the difference between medium and high settings at 4K mainly comes from the GPU. The game supports Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, which can help improve frame rates on compatible hardware. An unlocked frame rate is also available, which fits well with the game’s fast-paced action and hack-and-slash style.
There’s no official word yet on Steam Deck compatibility, but the low system requirements hint it might run well on handheld devices with similar power, like the ROG Ally. That could be a nice bonus for portable play.
Sony’s PC ports have had mixed results in the past. Some, like The Last of Us Part 1, struggled with performance, while others, such as Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War, ran smoothly. Stellar Blade’s modest specs raise hopes that it will perform well on a wide range of PCs.
When it launches on June 11, we’ll have a clearer picture of how it runs. If you’re curious whether your PC can handle it, these specs might give you a good idea.
