Stellar Blade landed on PC just two days ago, finally letting players experience this action-packed title for themselves. Yet, the chatter surrounding the game has mostly fixated on one thing: the main character’s butt. Naturally, with the game now on PC, the modding community has jumped in, and here’s where things get pretty wild.
Out of 234 mods currently available, a whopping 41%—that’s 96 mods—are tagged as adult content. And honestly, some mods not marked as adult probably still push that line. For instance, there’s a mod called Eve Feethands that’s definitely not something you’d bring up casually at family dinner. Yikes!
Most of these mods do precisely what you might expect: they strip down the characters, especially Eve and other female figures, with the most popular option being full nudity. One mod dresses Eve in an apron, which is funny since it leaves more to the imagination. Then there are main menu mods that slap hardcore smut right on the home screen, because why not?
I’m all for adults doing what they want in private, seriously. If you want to turn your game into some kind of nonstop erotic fest, go ahead with my blessing. But… what kind of mindset leads someone to replace a game’s main menu with hardcore porn? At what point does constant exposure to sexuality stop being interesting and just become background noise? Wouldn’t it be more interesting if the adult content were rare and special? At least there’s always Thomas the Tank Engine mods to lighten the mood.
Believe it or not, the top 10 mods for Stellar Blade are all adult-rated, and together they’ve been downloaded about 250,000 times so far. The gooners are definitely making their mark. Will this mod scene keep the game’s reputation all about that butt? Probably. But hey, it’s their party, and we’re just watching the chaos unfold.
