Stellar Blade has received a fresh update that comes with some nice freebies and gameplay additions for players on PS5 and PC. The developer, Shift Up, is offering these as a way to thank fans for their ongoing support.
Patch 1.012 on PS5 and 1.2.0 on PC are live now. By heading to The Last Gulp in Xion, players can unlock seven newly arranged songs inspired by the game’s existing background music. The tracks include:
- Don’t Forget Me (Trio)
- Flooded Commercial Sector (Trio)
- Clock Tower (Trio)
- White Night (Trio)
- Wasteland – Reboot (Trio)
- Oasis (Trio)
- Don’t Forget Me (Refresh)
Along with these musical treats, the update unlocks Hard Mode from the start of the game. This challenging setting is also added to the Boss Challenge mode, giving players a tougher experience right away.
PC users gain some extra goodies too, with Stellar Blade badges, trading cards, backgrounds, and stickers now available for purchase through the Steam Points Shop. It’s a small touch that adds a bit of flair for collectors.
Shift Up also addressed various bugs and made smaller tweaks, improving overall stability and polish. The team shared these details in a recent tweet, highlighting their appreciation for the community’s love and support.
It’s worth noting that Stellar Blade has recently passed three million sales across PS5 and PC. Impressively, one million of those copies came from the PC launch alone within just a few days. The developer is already planning a sequel, eager for a release sometime around 2027.
