Starship Troopers: Extermination just dropped a hotfix update 1.4.1, and it’s all about smoothing out some annoying bugs that have been messing with your trooper experience. If you’ve been frustrated by weird damage stacking or glitches during missions, this patch might make your next bug hunt a bit less chaotic.
Patch Notes for Update 1.4.1
- Lead Lined Plates no longer stack damage reduction after each death — finally, no more unfair tanking!
- The Broadcast FedNet Field Report beacon is now interactable, so you can actually use it as intended.
- Players can now ping correctly while holding the FedNet Camera, making communication smoother.
- Thermo Charge animation should play properly every time it’s triggered — no more visual hiccups.
- Interrupting grenade throws won’t trigger cooldowns unless the grenade is actually thrown, which is a relief.
- Fixed chat display issues that popped up after disabling Cross-Play on consoles.
- Tiger and other bugs now spawn correctly during the final encounter in SOG Mission 5 — no more missing enemies!
- Resolved a bug where being incapacitated as a horde wave ends caused a broken state.
- Fixed a crash that happened during login, so getting into the game should be smoother now.
