Starfield Surpasses 1 Million Concurrent Players on Launch Day, Confirms Xbox

Bethesda’s space-exploration game, Starfield, has achieved a commendable milestone by surpassing one million concurrent players on its launch day. This achievement was confirmed by Phil Spencer, Microsoft’s head of gaming.

Starfield was released on September 6 and was available across multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, PC via Windows and Steam, and Microsoft’s Game Pass. Before its official release, the game had a five-day early access window exclusively for customers who pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Phil Spencer expressed his gratitude: “Starfield exceeded 1 million concurrent players across all platforms today. Thanks to all the players who helped us reach this great milestone and congrats to the Bethesda Studios.

It’s evident that Starfield‘s performance is off to a flying start. As one of Bethesda’s most anticipated titles in recent years, this promising reception could be indicative of the game’s potential success in the coming months.
