Starfield Preps for DLSS 3 Inclusion in Upcoming Steam Beta Update

Next week promises a refreshing change for the players of Starfield, as the game preps for an update that will enhance gameplay. Developers of the famed Starfield game recently shed light on what’s to come, revealing that this update, set to debut in Steam Beta, will bring Nvidia’s DLSS 3 support.

The DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology by Nvidia is a cutting-edge tool that allows gamers to experience high-quality graphics without compromising on the game’s performance. PC users with Nvidia will benefit from this feature, experiencing sharper visuals and smoother gameplay.

However, the DLSS support isn’t the sole highlight of the update. Accompanying it are controls for frame generation, display, and High Dynamic Range (HDR) adjustments. These are tailored for systems supporting these features, paving the way for an even more immersive gaming experience. And there’s more: the update will also roll out with other game optimizations and improvements.

For those who want to get a firsthand look, you don’t have to wait too long. Players will soon be able to opt into the update via Steam Beta’s settings. The developers are actively seeking feedback on the new features. After its trial run in Beta, the updated Starfield is slated to go live for all PC and Xbox players.

For the players using AMD systems, there’s something in store for you, too. The announcement mentioned that AMD’s FSR3 (FidelityFX Super Resolution) support is in the pipeline and will be part of a subsequent update.
