StarCraft’s Second ARG Transmission Raises a Possible Kerrigan Connection Before BlizzCon
Transmission 02 adds cargo logs, medical records and a recurring 2575 date, but Blizzard has not identified the masked patient.
StarCraft’s second ARG transmission is now appearing on Blizzard’s StarCraft website, and it adds a masked patient record that has fans looking at Sarah Kerrigan’s initials. The page presents a corrupted download with red glitches, rapidly changing text and failure warnings instead of a clean announcement.
The latest sequence follows earlier site glitches that revealed fragments tied to Theta Squadron and the Roxara Lunar Mining Complex. Transmission 02 broadens that thread with cargo conversations, medical records and an unnamed research operation that appears to be going badly.
What Transmission 02 contains
A fan-maintained Transmission 02 archive currently collects 13 entries. The logs describe important cargo connected to the research operation, including “screeching and scratching” coming from inside it. Other entries warn about unstable contents, adding to the sense that the shipment is connected to an experiment that is not proceeding cleanly.

The clearest link to StarCraft’s familiar cast comes from a medical record labeled S. K███████. The surname begins with K and is followed by seven obscured letters, making Kerrigan, which has eight letters, an unusually close match. The record does not identify the patient directly, however, so Sarah Kerrigan remains an inference rather than a confirmed appearance.
Kerrigan’s ending leaves room for another chapter
Kerrigan was last seen leaving with James Raynor two years after defeating Amon. The epilogue says Raynor was never heard from again, but it does not give Kerrigan an equivalent fate or name her in its closing material. That unresolved space gives the patient record more weight than a random initial would carry.
Another unresolved detail is the recurring year 2575. That date places the storyline decades beyond the familiar StarCraft 2 period, while the apparent Kerrigan connection points back toward one of the series’ central characters. The contrast could be intentional, but the website has not explained how the patient, the cargo or the timeline fit together.
The timing also recalls Blizzard’s earlier ARG history. The last StarCraft ARG arrived in 2013 for Heart of the Swarm, while a surprise StarCraft II patch in July had already drawn fresh attention to the game. The current transmissions are now appearing as BlizzCon approaches on September 12.
BlizzCon is scheduled to begin on Sept. 12, 2026, according to the event’s official website. That leaves the ARG’s next transmission close to Blizzard’s event, where the mystery around the cargo and S. K███████ could receive another clue.
