BioWare published Game Update 7.7.1c for STAR WARS: The Old Republic, fixing several subscriber event vendor issues, mission blockers, item and appearance bugs. The patch focuses on subscriber login event behavior and a range of general fixes that affect missions, dynamic encounters, mounts and character appearance. Players should see corrected vendor labeling, improved mission geometry, and a number of visual fixes across companions, mounts and character models.

Subscriber Login Event
- Characters under level 80 can no longer purchase the following items from the event vendor:
- Supply Crate: OP-1 Catalyst
- Supply Crate: FP-1 Stabilizers
- Supply Crate: Tech Fragments
- The 2V-R8 and C2-N2 Security Droid Customizations now unlock in Collections when they are purchased and equipped on the respective droids.
- The 340 Rakata Mainhand Weapon item on the vendor is now labeled properly.
- The claim button for the event’s currency will now be grayed out if the character has hit the currency cap.
General
- Items requiring Artifact Authorization that were previously authorized by a past subscription can no longer be equipped after being shared across the Legacy.
- [Ability] Updated the description text for Dark Embrace to match its gameplay functionality. This ability and its mirror, Mental Disparity, is intended for the DoT to trigger only once.
Missions
- [Manaan: Out of the Blue] This mission is now automatically granted once Borrowed Power is completed.
- [Mek-sha: HEROIC 2+ Brotherhood Emancipation] The stairs leading to the second floor are now aligned properly allowing players to easily progress through the mission.
- [Ossus: State of Things to Come] This mission can no longer be abandoned.
Dynamic Encounters
- [Ilum: Troubled Tauns] The waste containers now respawn after they have been used.
Items
- The nameplate for the Phantasmal Mouse Horranth Decoration is no longer visible when it is placed on a hook.
- The Flameshell Mewvorr now properly joins the player for a ride when it and a minipet compatible mount are summoned.
- The GDW Weaponcarrier mount tooltip has been updated to indicate that certain companions and minipets can tag along for the ride.
- When riding around on the GDW Weaponcarrier, larger companions now appear more aligned with the E-Web Cannon.
- Fixed an issue that caused some companions to not appear on the GDW Weaponcarrier despite being previously summoned.
- Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect model on the Empire Director’s Cowl to appear for characters using Male Body Type 2.
Galactic Seasons
- The background color of the “Wall Wires” decoration has been updated to green.
Customizations
- Fixed an issue that caused a black texture to appear on the back of characters’ heads when the 49, 50, and 51 complexion appearance options are used.
Character Modernization
- Fixed an issue that caused skin color 19 for Torgrutas to appear completely black when Dark Side Corruption is enabled at levels 4 and 5.
- Fixed an issue that caused a dark line down the back of the head to appear when using male complexions 49, 50, 51, and 54, and female complexions 42, 43, 44, and 47.
UI
- Fixed a visual issue that caused the “Exit Warzone” text on the PvP Scoreboard to exceed the perimeter of the button.
This update cleans up a range of small but frustrating problems, from blocked vendor purchases for lower level subscribers to mission geometry that could halt progress.
