Broadsword published Game Update 7.7.1c for STAR WARS: The Old Republic, fixing several subscriber event vendor issues, mission blockers, item and appearance bugs. The patch focuses on subscriber login event behavior and a range of general fixes that affect missions, dynamic encounters, mounts and character appearance. Players should see corrected vendor labeling, improved mission geometry, and a number of visual fixes across companions, mounts and character models.

Patch Notes – 7.7.1c

Subscriber Login Event

  • Characters under level 80 can no longer purchase the following items from the event vendor:
    • Supply Crate: OP-1 Catalyst
    • Supply Crate: FP-1 Stabilizers
    • Supply Crate: Tech Fragments
  • The 2V-R8 and C2-N2 Security Droid Customizations now unlock in Collections when they are purchased and equipped on the respective droids.
  • The 340 Rakata Mainhand Weapon item on the vendor is now labeled properly.
  • The claim button for the event’s currency will now be grayed out if the character has hit the currency cap.

General

  • Items requiring Artifact Authorization that were previously authorized by a past subscription can no longer be equipped after being shared across the Legacy.
  • [Ability] Updated the description text for Dark Embrace to match its gameplay functionality. This ability and its mirror, Mental Disparity, is intended for the DoT to trigger only once.

Missions

  • [Manaan: Out of the Blue] This mission is now automatically granted once Borrowed Power is completed.
  • [Mek-sha: HEROIC 2+ Brotherhood Emancipation] The stairs leading to the second floor are now aligned properly allowing players to easily progress through the mission.
  • [Ossus: State of Things to Come] This mission can no longer be abandoned.

Dynamic Encounters

  • [Ilum: Troubled Tauns] The waste containers now respawn after they have been used.

Items

  • The nameplate for the Phantasmal Mouse Horranth Decoration is no longer visible when it is placed on a hook.
  • The Flameshell Mewvorr now properly joins the player for a ride when it and a minipet compatible mount are summoned.
  • The GDW Weaponcarrier mount tooltip has been updated to indicate that certain companions and minipets can tag along for the ride.
  • When riding around on the GDW Weaponcarrier, larger companions now appear more aligned with the E-Web Cannon.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some companions to not appear on the GDW Weaponcarrier despite being previously summoned.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect model on the Empire Director’s Cowl to appear for characters using Male Body Type 2.

Galactic Seasons

  • The background color of the “Wall Wires” decoration has been updated to green.

Customizations

  • Fixed an issue that caused a black texture to appear on the back of characters’ heads when the 49, 50, and 51 complexion appearance options are used.

Character Modernization

  • Fixed an issue that caused skin color 19 for Torgrutas to appear completely black when Dark Side Corruption is enabled at levels 4 and 5.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a dark line down the back of the head to appear when using male complexions 49, 50, 51, and 54, and female complexions 42, 43, 44, and 47.

UI

  • Fixed a visual issue that caused the “Exit Warzone” text on the PvP Scoreboard to exceed the perimeter of the button.

This update cleans up a range of small but frustrating problems, from blocked vendor purchases for lower level subscribers to mission geometry that could halt progress. Players who use the GDW Weaponcarrier mount or certain complexions should see immediate improvements. Share thoughts in the comments and follow us on X and Bluesky.
