So, here we are! Ubisoft just dropped Title Update 1.5.0 for Star Wars: Outlaws, and it’s not just a sprinkle of fixes. It’s like they threw the whole spice rack at it! With around 90 fixes and tweaks packed into this hefty patch (we’re talking about a solid 7GB on PC), there’s plenty to unpack for all you Star Wars fans out there.
First off, let me say that the developers really listened to player feedback this time around! We’re finally seeing smoother transitions when NPCs move in and out of cover! No more awkward stumbles as they duck behind walls like they’re trying to avoid an embarrassing moment at a party.
The AI got some love, too; they’re now better at reacting to grenades and figuring out when Kay is playing hide-and-seek in smoke. Oh boy, I can’t wait to see how that plays out during my next shootout!
But wait, there’s more! They’ve also updated Frame Generation and DLSS options, so if you’ve got your rig set up right, expect those frames to be flying high! And yes, does performance drop when aiming straight down? Consider that fixed!
Now let’s talk about some of the quirky stuff: were random floating objects a thing? Seriously? Well, we will no longer have those pesky items defying gravity while trying to enjoy our galactic adventures. Plus, Tatooine scurriers now have additional flee animations because who doesn’t love watching little critters panic?
For those interested in quest fixes (and trust me, there are quite a few!), check them out here. Spoiler-free zone over here!
