From the former Telltale Games veterans, Star Trek: Resurgence will be coming to consoles and P.C. in 2022. This new project was announced at The Game Awards this Thursday by Dramatic labs – the studio formed after those who worked on arguably one of our favorite adventure series ever (Star Trek).
Star Trek: Resurgence is set in the era after Star Trek The Next Generation and revives an innovative franchise created by Gene Roddenberry. The U.S.S. Resolute is a starship with two playable characters, First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineering Crewperson Carter Diaz. They unravel the mystery of an alien war brewing between their civilizations.
.Dramatic Labs has announced that they are developing a third-person adventure game set on board the Starship U.S.S. Resolute features two compelling lead roles; first officer Jara Rydeck played by Zoë Bell ( Syndicate Wars, X), and engineer Carter Diaz. As this story unfolds, gamers will explore various locations from engineering decks to escape pods until eventually unraveling one’s ultimate goal, which could either end tragically or perhaps triumphant.
Star Trek: Resurgence will be released in Spring 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and P.C.
