STALCRAFT: X’s Electrostorm Will Bring Lightning Rods and New Rewards to Forge-11

NA players can watch the lead-in at 5:00 PM EDT before the event starts at 6:00 PM EDT.

STALCRAFT: X is preparing to turn Forge-11 into the center of a dangerous electrical phenomenon. The upcoming Electrostorm event will add hourly anomaly activity, Lightning Rods, special artifacts, event challenges, and a shop filled with new rewards.

For NA players, the opening sequence is scheduled for 5:00 PM EDT at Forge-11, followed by the Electrostorm at 6:00 PM EDT. EXBO outlined the event and its Forge-11 changes in an announcement.

The story begins with an explosion at one of the generators near the Control Center. Nobody has claimed responsibility, while the factions are turning their suspicion toward one another and Typhoon. The blast will trigger an electrical anomaly above the Control Center, with lightning and thunder covering the area around Forge-11.

Electrostorm is expected to remain active through September 23. It will appear once every hour and last for 30 minutes. During each occurrence, regular open-world events in the area will be replaced by special activities that award Internal, the event’s currency.

Internal comes with a built-in extraction risk. Half of what you earn is added to your account immediately, while the other half must be carried out successfully. Dying will cost you the portion that has not yet been secured.

Lightning Rods add another loot race

Lightning Rods will appear across Forge-11 only while the Electrostorm is active. Once a rod is activated, lightning strikes it and produces artifacts. Players can find the usual Forge-11 artifacts after an event, along with the special Black Hole, Mug, Snares, Timber, and Larva artifacts.

Artifact distribution depends on who remains inside the Lightning Rod’s area of effect. Items are handed out one at a time so everyone who stays in range receives the same number. If someone leaves or dies, their unclaimed artifacts are redistributed among the remaining participants.

Forge-11 will also contain an unusual anomaly above one of the generators around the Control Center. It seems to point toward something, although the event announcement leaves its purpose for players to discover.

Challenges and rewards during the storm

Event challenges will provide another way to earn rewards. Completing them fills a progress bar, and reaching further milestones improves the reward available from that track.

Internal can be spent in the event shop on the Aura style for the Buryat SRD and the Aeolus style for the Elbrus SRD. Other items include a profile background and pattern, consumables, and the Informer’s Reward event case.

The Electrostorm Researcher Set will also include resources and cosmetic items for players heading into the anomaly. The pack will be available until September 23, 2026.

Forge-11 is being rebuilt around the anomaly

The event will arrive alongside a major redesign of Forge-11’s Control Center and the surrounding complex. The total area and inner ring will be expanded, new buildings will fill the ring and perimeter, and the location’s visuals and weather will receive updates.

A level 4 Psy-infection will occupy the site of the destroyed generator. Movement through the complex will also change, with more trampolines and zip lines available. The location will contain more anomalies, including Stasis, while the new Tesla anomaly will deal sustained damage to players inside its radius. Lootable decorations will be more common as well.

ZIVCAS’s stronghold will feature more than its static NPCs, with several groups patrolling the building. Metal detectors at many entrances will warn players about approaching enemies through an audio alarm and red lights that remain active for a few seconds. Enabling Light Sources in the graphics settings is recommended for the clearest visual effect.

New routes lead into Forge-11

Camps with zip lines will be placed diagonally from the Forge-11 complex, giving players faster routes into the location. Two new Burrows will also connect the area to the opposing faction strongholds. The western Burrow leads to the eastern stronghold, while the eastern Burrow leads to the western one.

Burrow exits will be selected at random, so reaching the other side may place players in an unsafe position. With the storm, new anomalies, roaming groups, and extraction-based currency all sharing the same space, Forge-11 will be a risky place to visit even when the weather is clear.
