STALCRAFT: X’s Chain of Decay Questline Is Complete, and the First Nocturnes Have Been Found

The developers thanked the community for solving the mystery and will send extra rewards to players who actively helped with the search.

STALCRAFT: X’s Chain of Decay questline has been completed, bringing the community’s long-running mystery hunt to an end. The first Nocturnes have already been acquired, according to EXBO’s Steam announcement.

Players reached the solution by working through a wide range of theories, including plenty that turned out to be wrong. Their combined efforts eventually uncovered the answer, with fan creators and other community members also contributing by sharing content or following the investigation.

EXBO thanked everyone who took part, whether they helped solve the mystery or simply enjoyed watching the search unfold. The developer also plans to review player feedback before creating similar mysteries in the future, with the goal of making those quests more interesting.

Additional rewards are also planned for the most active participants. EXBO will compile a list of eligible players soon and send the rewards directly to their characters.
