STALCRAFT: X Takes Players Inside the Unfinished Area-16 Coliseum

The arena sits where three dimensions meet and began as part of a secret project focused on human capability.

STALCRAFT: X has offered a closer look at Area-16: Coliseum, an unfinished arena positioned at the meeting point of three different dimensions. The location was created from the remains of a secret Neo-Consciousness project that sought to push human abilities to their limits.

The new Steam announcement presents Coliseum through a series of images covering its industrial exterior, rooftops, corridors, machinery, and other interior spaces. The area combines old facilities with elevated walkways, cramped rooms, open courtyards, and heavy infrastructure.

The setting adds more atmosphere to the upcoming Coliseum mode, which is planned around short team-based matches. Its first-season reward structure will remain cosmetic while the ranking system is checked for stability and fairness, giving the new arena a competitive focus without tying gameplay advantages to leaderboard placement.

For now, the images are an early presentation of Area-16 rather than a finished map tour. The announcement specifically warns that the location does not represent its final version, so parts of the layout and presentation may change before Coliseum is ready.
