STALCRAFT: X servers are back online after EXBO completed its maintenance on September 23, giving players access to the Zone again. The developer confirmed the restoration in its September 23 Steam notice, which also asks players to install the update so the game works properly. The outage had been extended beyond its original schedule, with EXBO setting a revised end time of 9:00 UTC on September 23 in the revised maintenance schedule.

The brief announcement does not explain what the update changes or announce new gameplay content. Its focus is server access, with EXBO confirming that the maintenance has finished and the game is ready to receive players again.
