Spectre Divide Update | December 3 | Patch Notes

GENERAL
QUALITY OF LIFE
  • Implemented a large suite of CPU optimizations to improve performance.
BUG FIXES
  • Vector Dynamics: players can no longer reactivate the Dual Amp ability (Q) while swapping bodies.
  • Ghostlink: fixed a bug where certain cosmetics would have their VFX taking too long to fade when using Dupe (E).
  • Fixed a bug where District names would be localized in some languages.
ICYMI:
  • In November, we added a new “Report Player” pop-up that allows players to write notes with their reports.
  • Your reports are incredibly valuable and help us in the fight against toxicity, cheating, and inappropriate behavior in Spectre Divide.

The transition of the bug report platform shows that the devs at Mountain Top Studios listen closely to player feedback, a brave move that shows they’re not afraid of facing criticism head-on. We all know how important it is for any game community, especially one as spirited as this one, to feel heard and supported.

The CPU optimizations aim for smoother gameplay because who doesn’t want more frames per second while dodging enemies? I’ve had my fair share of heart-pounding moments interrupted by lag spikes that felt like being slapped by an ethereal hand during an intense duel!

The fixes are welcome, too. Issues with abilities like Dual Amp can mess up a lot, and nobody likes feeling cheated by faulty mechanics. Let’s not even get started on cosmetic bugs… nothing screams, “I’m underprepared!” quite like flashy effects refusing to behave when you need them most.

And speaking of community engagement, remember last month’s edition of the “Report Player” feature? It’s crucial for keeping those toxic vibes at bay. No one wants their gaming haven turned into a battleground filled with negativity and cheats. Your input here is gold, each report helps shape a better environment for everyone involved.
