skate. is getting version 0.30.5 on April 14, with maintenance beginning at 9:40 a.m. PDT. The update focuses on stability, co-op visibility, gesture movement, and a wide sweep of bug fixes across tricks, goals, and UI.

Patch Notes

The biggest changes in 0.30.5 center on recovery and reliability. Players who fall through the map will now be sent to a safe location, the co-op UI now shows which party members can visit Isle of Grom, and several gestures now allow movement while they play out. The rest of the update targets long-standing issues tied to grinds, wipeouts, tasks, challenge flow, and visual indicators.

Feature Updates

Stability

  • You will now teleport to a safe location if you fall through the map.

Co-op UI

  • You can now see which members of your party are able to visit Isle of Grom for co-op play.

Gestures

  • Added the ability to move while performing the Anarchy Bunny, Murder Bunny, Paddy’s Lucky Heels, Soul Train, Spinaroo, Running Man Dance, and Weightless Walk Gestures.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where double grind glitches were harder to perform.
  • Fixed an issue where contact force wipeouts were not triggering correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where offboard bounce pad boosts sometimes didn’t trigger.
  • Fixed an issue where Hippy Jumps would unintentionally fail to land.
  • Fixed an issue where landing in a Boardslide after a Darkslide was not consistent.
  • Fixed an issue where rolling off the edge of a building would cause you to wipe out.
  • Fixed an issue where you would be stood up automatically after falling in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where a dropped skateboard wouldn’t roll down slopes as expected.
  • Fixed an issue where Late flip tricks on flat ground were missing the Late points modifier.
  • Fixed an issue where drop ins would sometimes cause you to runout.
  • Fixed an issue where a character would sometimes get stuck in collision during certain Stunt Challenges.
  • Fixed an issue where Tasks would not progress after rollover until the player opens the Task menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the Big Billboard goal in the Large Barge Own the Lot could not be completed.
  • Fixed an issue where Legacy skate.Pass titles had missing thumbnails.
  • Fixed an issue where Community Park timers were missing the day indicator.
  • Fixed an issue where owned items in a Product Box were not greyed out in the UI.
  • Fixed some instances of an issue where your skateboard’s wheels would spin in the wrong direction.
  • Fixed multiple issues where various UI indicators highlighting new items were not cleared after viewing them.
