skate. players will get Season 2 on December 2, publisher Electronic Arts and developer Full Circle confirmed, with the season running through March 2026 and a host of gameplay and social updates. The biggest gameplay addition is a timed squad mode called Own the Lot, which takes inspiration from an earlier series mode and asks up to four players to complete as many shared criteria as possible before the clock runs out; higher completion tiers award bigger rewards. That mode is built for short, competitive sessions and leans on teamwork more than solo runs.
Party systems get attention too. Season 2 adds Party Voice Chat and a Beacons option on the Comms Wheel so crews can call out locations and join friends more easily. Expect the feature to change how pickup sessions form in populated areas of San Vansterdam. The replay tool gets a major push with an Advanced Editor Mode that brings enhanced trimming, keyframes, and expanded framing options like roll, tilt, and offset. Content creators and players who like to show off lines should find more precision when cutting clips and framing montages.
Visual work arrives in two passes, a World pass and Character pass. The developer says lighting, pedestrian updates, and sharper details will refresh San Van and skater models; Season 2 also introduces three new hairstyles and two facial hair options for avatar variety. New and updated skateable areas will land across San Vansterdam, including the Casper Hotel Rooftop, Road Tunnel, Building Roof Patio, and Canal Buildings, and these locations will remain after the season ends. Trick-wise, Season 2 adds Impossibles and expands Handplants around the city, with full trick notes posted to the Skatepedia entry.
Brands and audio get an injection as well: new partners such as OJ, Ricta, Scifi, and Adidas arrive in the in-game store, and the soundtrack gains 25 tracks featuring artists like Public Enemy, Motörhead, and The Bombay Royale, with the full list promised soon.
