skate. will bring the X Games San Van event to The Stadium on July 21 as part of its Season 4 mid-season update. The event will remain available through August 25, and access will be open to everyone without Rip Chips or a skate.Premium Pass.
Full Circle detailed the event in an official Steam announcement, outlining new challenges, competitive activities, rewards, and social features coming with update 0.31.5.
The redesigned Stadium will draw from the MoonPay X Games League Championship course in New Orleans. Its three main areas are a large competition vert ramp, a street park, and a bowl section, giving players several different setups to test their lines.
X Games San Van activities
The event will feature 10 X Games Challenges across San Vansterdam. Six will take place inside The Stadium, while four will be located in the surrounding streets. Some challenges take inspiration from moments in X Games history, and an Own the Lot challenge will let players build their own combos.

Players can also work through event Tasks, including X Games Live Tasks tied to the real-world competition, Club-inspired objectives, and Champion Tasks focused on clean runs. Four sets of X Games Club Tasks will represent Los Angeles, São Paulo, New York, and Tokyo, with club titles available as rewards.
X Games Spot Battles will add a new way to compete. Each location will have a leaderboard showing the server’s top three scores, and up to six individual players can take part. Parties are not supported in these battles. Six featured locations across San Van will also host permanent X Games Throwdowns, giving players another reason to chase higher scores before the leaderboard resets.

More players, new social tools, and Block Parties
Party sizes and co-op challenges will support up to eight players during the event. Players will also be able to see other skaters while taking part in Challenges, Throwdowns, and other instanced activities. Two fast-travel points in Brickswich will become permanent to provide quicker routes to the event.
The Social menu will receive a Find Skaters hub. From there, players can enter a six-digit Skater Code, search for a username, or view and refresh their own code. A Skater Code Visibility option will let players hide the code from the interface while streaming or recording.
From August 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PT, through August 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PT, Full Circle will test a new Meet Ups activity called Block Parties. These city-wide events will turn Free Roam into a series of short, objective-based multiplayer rounds with live leaderboards. Every 30 minutes, the event will move to another location with a new leaderboard, and players can join or leave by entering or exiting the event area.
Rewards and anti-griefing changes
X Coins earned from Challenges, Tasks, Missions, and other activities can be spent in the Event Store on X Games-themed rewards. More event items will also appear in the Featured Store. Jerseys, tanks, and T-shirts will replicate the real-world X Games gear planned for the New Orleans competition, while the decks were designed specifically for the game.

Update 0.31.5 will also improve tools for dealing with obstructive player objects. An Inspect Player button will be added to objects, allowing players to open a profile card and block or report the creator. Blocking objects in hard-to-reach areas will become easier through Quick Drop, where players can move the camera to the offending object and use the same Inspect Player option. Blocked players will disappear, and their Quick Objects will become mostly transparent.
The full patch notes for update 0.31.5 will arrive on July 20, one day before X Games San Van begins. The event itself will run until August 25.
