Sony’s PS Plus Extra service will remove six games on 21st October 2025, after the service’s Last Chance to Play list was updated to include two more titles. That means a pair of Dark Pictures Anthology games are now scheduled to leave the catalogue alongside four other previously announced departures.
All six titles will exit PS Plus Extra on the same date. The complete list is below, with platform notes where relevant:
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes (PS5, PS4)
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me (PS5, PS4)
- Battlefield 1 (PS4)
- Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (PS5, PS4)
- Tour de France 2023 (PS5, PS4)
- The Last Clockwinder (PSVR2)
The two Dark Pictures entries were the fresh additions to the October expiry list, which is a shame if you were planning a spooky playthrough for Halloween, since they vanish about 10 days before the night. If you want to keep them in your library beyond that date, you would need to purchase them outright.
There is still time if you want to play them before they leave. You have roughly three weeks until removal, and each Dark Pictures title runs about six to seven hours, so finishing both comfortably before the 21st is realistic for many players.
I know it feels odd when seasonal games slip away right before a holiday, but if any of these were on your list, it’s worth checking them out while they’re still included. Please share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X and Bluesky.
