The Coalition is bringing back the multiplayer beta for Gears of War: Reloaded this weekend, giving players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC another chance to jump into the action-packed battles. If you missed the first beta, this is your moment to test new modes and maps before the full release.
The initial multiplayer beta ran from June 13 to June 15 and featured intense Team Deathmatch gameplay. Thousands of players wielded their Lancers with gusto, but now the second beta aims to mix things up a bit.
Gears of War: Reloaded Beta Runs From June 20 to June 22
The second beta starts on Friday, June 20, at 7 PM UTC (12 PM PST) and runs until Sunday, June 22, at the same time, according to Xbox’s official announcement. To join, players must have preordered Gears of War: Reloaded digitally, hold a Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription, or have owned a digital copy of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before May 5.
Unlike the first beta, which focused on Team Deathmatch, this round introduces a new mode called King of the Hill, along with fresh maps designed to reduce repetition and keep matches lively. It might be the last beta before the full game launches, so it’s a good opportunity to jump in.
Did you get a chance to try the first beta? How did it compare to the original Gears of War experience?
