Coffee Stain Studios has released Satisfactory version 1.1.2.0, a follow-up update that formally merges recent Experimental changes back into the Default branch and includes a crucial fix for an Uobject crash and memory leak that could degrade performance over long sessions. The version number was raised now that the team has converged Experimental and Default after the Spline Collision Refactor period; the studio notes the bump was intended earlier but the change wasn’t reflected until this patch, with the message “(It’s been a long year – Uzu)” included in the notes.
The patch repeats that a fix for an Uobject crash and memory leak was applied, and clarifies that the fix was actually part of the prior update but was accidentally omitted from those patch notes. That issue could lead to severe performance degradation or out-of-memory crashes on both PC and console when a session was left running for a long time, so the correction matters for players keeping servers online for extended play. Steam Deck owners get more UI polish in this release: font sizes were adjusted across several menus to improve readability and menu layout. The update lists the affected screens, and there are a couple of small controller-focused fixes in the UI section as well.
Players with problems are asked to report issues via the Satisfactory QA Site. Console-specific feedback is also being read by the team. For context on the Spline Collision Refactor that prompted the branch convergence, see our coverage of the spline collision refactor and Steam Deck fixes.
Patch Notes – 1.1.2.0
1.1 Fixes v1.1.2.0
Hi Pioneers!
Hello again everyone, We are still working on some more necessary adjustments to improve the experience for Satisfactory on Steam Deck to obtain verified status, so here’s a few more fixes 🙂
Version has been increased to 1.1.2.0 as we have converged Experimental and the Default branch as of the previous patch after we finished the last Experimental period for the Spline Collision Refactor, This was intended to be changed on the previous patch but wasn’t changed until now, sorry for that. (It’s been a long year – Uzu)
If you happen to encounter any issues from this patch please let us know over at our QA Site https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/ We’re always reading your posts, for Console feedback too!
Thank you everyone and see you all again soon <3
BUG FIXES
- Fixed Uobject crash/Memory Leak when using blueprint auto connect or when cycling through upgradeable holograms with the build gun
- This bug fix was actually part of the previous patch, but it was accidentally left out of the patch notes so I’m mentioning it here again. This is actually a very important fix as this would lead to severe performance degradation/out of memory crashes on both PC and Console when staying in the same session over time. #PraiseMykhailo
STEAM DECK
- Further adjustments to font sizes when playing from Steam Deck following menus:
- Main Menu – New Game Screen
- Options Menu
- Session Settings
- Advanced Game Settings
- Session Settings and related elements
UI
- Updated Credits with latest information since the console release
- Fixed “Load with Advanced Settings” option being incorrectly available in the Server Manager menu when using a controller
