Rumor Reveals Starfield May Be Delayed To 2022

Rumors have started whirling around that Bethesda’s upcoming interstellar title, Starfield, could face a chunky delay. Namely, the game was expected to launch this year, 2022, but due to recent issues, it seems like the game’s far from its completion. A rumor has recently surfaced, obscuring a YouTuber that gathered Jason Schreier’s attention. The YouTuber claimed that Bethesda had completed Starfield, and now it’s working on the next-gen port.

For this story to become more interesting, Jason Schreier, Reporter for Bloomberg, has escorted the statement by Luke Stephens, declining its content and claims. On the contrary, Jason Schreier also stated that Starfield is nowhere near done, according to several people familiar with the development.

Below you can find Jason Schreier’s response.

To alleviate all of the frustration and try to satisfy some of the fans, Bethesda will visit E3. However, the release won’t be executed at the planned date, which means the game could potentially face yet another delay. We do believe, however, that Bethesda wants to make up for Fallout 76 shenanigans. Hence, no matter how many delays are required, lesson learned, it’s better not to rush and regret.
