Rumor: Ghost of Tsushima might get a Multiplayer?

Shortly after its successful launch and every positive feedback the developer had soaked, it seems like Sucker Punch is ready to develop more surprises to entertain the fans. To notice its success, the game has sold over 2.4 million copies in its first three days of launch, while it also emptied the store shelves in Japan.

What else could be coming to keep that same level of entertainment in Ghost of Tsushima? Well, knowing that single-player games are having probably the shortest playtime, the developer might be ready to introduce something new.

In a recent interview with GamesBeat, the game director Nate Fox was asked about multiplayer and its possibility of arrival to Ghost of Tsushima. While at first, the director said the company is extremely focused on developing single-player experience alongside Jin’s transformation and story, he followed up with “But who knows what the future holds”?

Imagine having a multiplayer in Ghost of Tsushima. How exactly would it be when you encounter another human-controlled Samurai or Ninja that’s geared out of his mind, ready to cut through everything that opposes him.

The most recent update Ghost of Tsushima had is the one that added the “Lethal difficulty” to the game, which is a plague for longer, more challenging and intensive fights. This difficulty fits hardcore fans the best, as it extends the game’s longevity for quite a while.
