Rumor: Assassin’s Creed Codename Red scheduled for May reveal and November debut

Rumors suggest that Ubisoft’s next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series Codename Red will be officially revealed in May followed by a gameplay demonstration during a Ubisoft Forward event in July. This information shared by @BunnyTheVillain, a member of the Ubisoft Creators Program hints at a November release date for the game. The post alleges that this information comes from a reliable source.

The post was relayed on X:

Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is expected to return to the expansive open-world RPG format for the franchise, set against the backdrop of feudal Japan. Specifics about the game remain scant but its expected to offer a departure from the adventure presented in Assassin’s Creed Mirage in 2023.

Previous leaks and a Ubisoft employee’s LinkedIn post from last year hinted at a 2024 release. Additionally, the narrative is rumored to include a modern-day storyline set in a futuristic Abstergo setting.
