RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business has just received its first patch on consoles, aimed at fixing some pesky blockers that have been frustrating players since launch. Teyon’s update is a small download but tackles issues that could seriously halt your progress.
Available now on consoles as version, this patch addresses weapon pickup problems, a bomb defusal blocker, and glitches in the Movie Night quest. It’s good to see these blockers getting some attention because nobody wants to be stuck mid-game with no way forward.
Here’s a quick rundown of what got fixed, straight from Teyon’s official post:
We're patching the console versions of RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business tomorrow to resolve the blockers that have been affecting some players:
• Weapon pick up issues
• Bomb defusal blocker
• Movie night quest pic.twitter.com/1o4qcZgBRt— RoboCop: Rogue City & Unfinished Business (@RoboCopRC) August 6, 2025
Console players might remember that a similar patch landed on PC back in July. That update tackled a black screen during the bomb disarm sequence, fixed the Movie Night quest, stopped enemies from disappearing during takedowns, and addressed crashes related to finishers on Heavy Mercenaries.
Considering RoboCop: Rogue City is a single-player game, massive updates aren’t exactly the norm. Still, some issues linger, so maybe Teyon will throw another patch our way down the line. Fingers crossed, right?
- Weapon pick up issues
- Bomb defusal blocker
- Movie night quest
Wondering if these fixes will make your playthrough smoother? They should, at least, be enough to keep you moving forward without pulling your hair out.
