Rideshare “Stimulator” PS5 Demo Offers a First Look at Its Passenger Loop

Saber Interactive’s Rideshare “Stimulator” now has a playable demo on PS5. The roughly 24 GB download offers a taste of the game’s city and its passenger-driving routine. Saber first announced the game in July for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a launch planned for later in 2026.

The demo includes the introduction and part of an open-world city, where players pick up passengers, hear their unusual stories, and take them to their destinations. It centers on the core ride loop rather than the full game.

AI use has already drawn scrutiny, including a public dispute over the game’s former lead writer. The full game’s Steam disclosure says its campaign was written by people but uses AI voice generation and some localization. Free Ride has an endless supply of AI-generated passenger missions with AI-written dialogue, while the radio mixes human-made and AI-generated music.
