Apex Legends. The high-octane battleground where legends are forged in the fires of competition and where your squad’s performance can swing from glorious triumph to the depths of despair in the blink of an eye. With the release of the From The Rift update, we’re transported back to where it all started—revisiting the thrill of that first hot drop and the chaotic scramble for loot. If you’ve ever wondered what it was like before the fancy upgrades and convoluted weapon systems, now is your chance to relive those glory days.

Picture this: you’re plummeting from the sky into Kings Canyon, a place teeming with nostalgia and danger. This update doesn’t just throw us back in time; it revitalizes our beloved Lifeline, reimagining her as a frontline powerhouse. Ready to see what’s new? Check out the trailer below!

NEW MODE: LAUNCH ROYALE

Step back into the Apex Legends of 2019 with the Launch Royale mode, an exhilarating throwback that strips away all the modern bells and whistles. Forget EVO Armor and ability upgrades; it’s just you, your wits, and the raw skill that got you here in the first place. Face off against others in this pure survival mode and channel your inner legend.

But wait, there’s more! As you conquer the challenges presented in Launch Royale, you’ll have the chance to unlock legends and snag rewards like Apex Packs. It’s all about that sweet nostalgia, and you’ll want in on this!

LIFELINE REVIVED

Now, let’s talk about Lifeline—our original medic is back and ready to kick some serious ass! She’s got a brand-new kit that’s all about aggression and support. Picture this: Lifeline gliding into the fray, teleporting her trusty D.O.C. (Drone of Compassion) to teammates while deploying a force field that boosts healing efficiency. She’s not just saving lives; she’s taking names.

  • Passive: Combat Glide – Hold JUMP mid-air to use D.O.C. to briefly glide.
  • Tactical: D.O.C. Heal Drone – D.O.C. heals nearby allies and can follow them once deployed.
  • Ultimate: D.O.C. Halo – Throw D.O.C. to activate a Halo Shield System, letting players consume health and shield items faster.

Lifeline’s ready to charge into action, and it’s time for you to join her on the frontlines!

RIFT RELICS

Now let’s talk about the shiny new toys—the Rift Relics. These cosmic anomalies offer powerful weapons and survival kits that can tip the scale in your favor. Think of them as your lucky charms but with a sci-fi twist. Grab the EPG-1 Launcher for some explosive fun or unleash Lifesteal Hop-Ups that heal you with every hit-perfect for those who love a good duel.

But beware! These relics won’t stick around forever. They’re scattered across the battlegrounds, and if you spot one, you better rush to collect it before the competition does. Plus, the ring is not just a timer; it’s playing mind games with your loot.

NEW: SUPPORT CLASS PERKS

With Lifeline leading the charge, the update also introduces new perks for the Support Class. Say hello to Heal Expert and Revive Expert, which give your team the edge they need to survive longer in the fight. Support Legends can move at full speed while healing, and revives are quicker and restorative. That’s right—support just got a whole lot more impactful!
