Sloclap has laid down the law for Rematch players who mess around with griefing, cheating, or toxic behavior. This new code of conduct will impact anyone who intentionally disrupts matches or engages in toxic behavior, with the goal of keeping gameplay fair and enjoyable.
We all know how frustrating it is to have teammates who either don’t cooperate or actively sabotage the match, whether by passing the ball to the other team or scoring own goals. It’s a real issue, especially since cross-play isn’t available yet, making it harder to form a squad with friends. Cheating is also becoming a bigger headache in higher-ranked games, and Sloclap is stepping up with punishments.
Rematch Code of Conduct Explained
Here’s what Sloclap’s code of conduct means for players:
- Griefing: Intentionally throwing the match by helping the other team or scoring own goals will get you a temporary ban of 3 days.
- Toxic behavior: Using abusive language, threats, or ongoing harassment can lead to bans from 3 to 7 days, depending on how bad it gets.
- Cheating: Anyone caught using cheats, hacks, or unauthorized software will face indefinite bans.
Repeat offenders won’t have it easy either; they might be banned indefinitely if they keep breaking the rules. Players aren’t left powerless, either. If you spot someone cheating or being toxic, you can report them.
Sloclap says, “You can submit Player Reports through our official Discord server. We’re also working on adding a Player Report feature directly in the game and on our website.”
