Ready or Not just got a quick patch to smooth out some rough spots from the recent Los Sueños Stories update. Patch 1 focuses on fixing annoying bugs and introduces a new region selection menu for public matchmaking. It’s a smaller fix-up before a bigger patch drops next week.
Players had been reporting issues with mission progress not showing up correctly, crashes during authentication, and problems with the crash reporter itself. Yikes. The devs also tackled a weird glitch where you could get auto-banned from friends-only lobbies just by team killing too much, which sounds harsh but also kinda necessary.
This is what got fixed:
- Legacy save files now properly show cleared missions on the selection screen.
- Commander mode progress saves correctly after training when starting fresh.
- Crash reporter actually sends crash reports now.
- Fixed a crash that happened during authentication.
- Audio-related crash got squashed.
- Players can’t get auto-banned from friends-only lobbies by excessive team killing anymore.
- A temporary region selection menu was added to support public matchmaking.
Adding a region selection menu is pretty neat, it should help match players more smoothly, especially for those wanting to play with others nearby. You can see the new menu in action here:
Of course, the team is still monitoring bug reports, so if you spot anything unusual, please report it on the official Ready or Not Discord. That way, they can collect everything in one spot and tackle issues more effectively.
Expect Patch 2 next week, which will bring a bigger bundle of fixes. For now, this patch should clear up some of the more frustrating problems that popped up since the Los Sueños Stories update launched.
