Ready or Not has reached a remarkable milestone, selling over one million units on consoles in under four days, according to Julio Rodriguez, CEO of VOID Interactive. This achievement stands out because the game hit this mark on console ten times faster than it did on PC after its initial release in December 2023.
The console version launched on July 15, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. It has received generally positive reviews and even caused the number of concurrent PC players to increase threefold. The console release appears to have drawn new attention to the game across platforms.
Julio Rodriguez expressed pride in the team’s work and emphasized that they are already addressing issues and working on improving the overall experience. Ready or Not is a first-person tactical shooter where players take on the role of SWAT officers tackling a surge in crime in the fictional city of Los Sueños. The crimes range from robberies and mass shootings to drug busts. Players can enjoy the game solo or in multiplayer mode with friends.
The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
