Ubisoft is bringing Rainbow Six Siege‘s Seasonal Series back on June 26, and Year 2 pares the route to the finals down while keeping PC and console players in the same pool.

The new season will run across Europe/MENA, North America, South America, and APAC, with APAC split into APAC North, Asia, and Oceania for a total of six editions. Ubisoft said sign-ups are already open through Challengermode for the seasonal ladders.
Year 1 also got a final spotlight. The post called out the top five teams from the first season, including Dyavoli, Donbetoysupandilla, Turks LFO, Stellae Gaming, and Vince Seven Esports.
The format has changed in a few key ways. The Promise Division and Contenders League are gone, replaced by five open ladder weekends. Teams now count their best three weekend results instead of two, and the top eight after Week 5 move into the Seasonal League for their region.

From there, the Seasonal League runs as a best-of-one round robin and sends six teams to the Seasonal Finals. The top two teams in that league get a seeding edge in the best-of-three double-elimination bracket that crowns each regional champion.
The prize pool is also larger this year. Each region will get €6,400 per season, with weekly open-ladder payouts for the top two teams and R6 Credits for the top three. Ubisoft also said community casting will be available during the Seasonal League and Finals, with applications open through this community cast form.
Here is the Challengermode signup list from Ubisoft: Europe/MENA Summer Season, North America Summer Season, South America Winter Season, Asia Summer Season, and Oceania Winter Season.
